AHE History

1978 HAF chartered as Arizona Association of Assistant and Associate Hospital Administrators.
2001, Nov. ACHE launched Chapter Project.
2003, Jan. Partners for Success initiated.
2003, May Chapter conversion process begun (presented at May 8th RAC)
2003, Jun. Letter of Intent filed with ACHE June 15th.
2003, Oct. HAF panel discussion devoted to Chapter Status, October 17, 2003.  Panel included: Peter Fine, FACHE (Governor-at-Large, ACHE); John Harrington, FACHE (Regent for Arizona, ACHE); Marge Reiter-Levine, FACHE (Vice President, Membership, HAF); Mike Albertson (Member-at-Large, HAF); and Desmond Ryan (Regional Director, Regional Services – ACHE).
2003, Nov. HAF voted to approve proceeding with Chapter affiliation.
2003, Dec. HAF Board Election and change of officers.  Bylaws were rewritten for consistency with ACHE guidelines and approved by incoming HAF Board.  Bylaws approved by ACHE.
2004, Feb. All documentation submitted for review to ACHE (2/9/2004).
2004, Feb. Recommended for Provisional Charter status (2/10/2004).
2004, Feb. Arizona Corporation Commission granted reincorporation (2/12/2004).
2004, Feb. Provisional Charter Chapter status granted by ACHE Board of Governors.
2008, Jan. Arizona Healthcare Executives achieved full charted chapter status.
