AHE has started a hiking club and we would love to add your favorite AZ hike to the lineup! If you would like to share your favorite hike with the group, please contact Sheila Schmidt at sschmidt@mpcca.com.

Granite Mountain Loop Trailhead

Please join us for the Granite Mountain Loop hike in scenic North Scottsdale! Enjoy this 5.1-mile loop trail near Scottsdale, Arizona. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 hr 52 min to complete. This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and horseback riding, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.

Bring plenty of water! Camelpack filled with ice water, wide brimmed hat and cooling towel highly recommended!
