Letter from Our Leaders

Dear ACHE member:

The Arizona Chapter (Arizona Healthcare Executives) (“AHE”) is an officially-designated, fully-chartered, independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Effective January 1, 2008, all ACHE affiliates located within the chapter’s assigned location are automatically members of the local chapter as a benefit of being an ACHE affiliate. Only ACHE affiliates are eligible to hold membership in the chapter.

Non-members are welcome to attend chapter programming events and other designated events. If you are not a member of ACHE yet, please click on the “Join ACHE” link at the top of the home page.

It is the chapter’s goal to the be premier source for relevant and timely programming and networking that is accessible to all AHE members.

Every member on the Board of ACHE is a volunteer. We have many committees and opportunities to get involved. If you see something you are interested in, please reach out through the Contact Us page or directly to the Board member in charge of that area.

We welcome any feedback you have to make this site better or to guide on ideas you have to improve the chapter.

Please stay safe and be well! Reach out with any questions or concerns. Thanks for your continued support of ACHE!

Sincerely,

Amber Brake, JD, MHA, FACHE

On behalf of the board of directors for Arizona Healthcare Executives (AHE), the local chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), welcome to the AHE website! Our Board is comprised of dedicated professionals from across the healthcare industry who are committed to serve the needs of our profession. ACHE’s mission is to advance our members and healthcare leadership excellence through education, engagement and inspiration to improve. As your chapter in Arizona, we are committed to this mission and these goals. We are the President and President Elect of the Arizona Healthcare Executives and invite you to explore this website, our chapter and join us.

It has been a challenging time for our communities, patients, staff and providers. We have had to adapt to changes in education, communication and facilitating the professional networking that supports our member’s growth and development. Through the commitment of our Board and members, we have offered educational opportunities focusing on critical issues of the day that effect our organizations, our staff and our patients. It has been a year of great learning and we are poised to build on those insights to make the future more robust than ever.

We will continue to offer compelling educational, mentoring and networking opportunities for all career stages. You can participate in any of our committees by reaching out to the committee chairs directly from the listing of board members or by sending a message in the Contact Us page of this site.

We encourage each of you to participate in the education offerings throughout the year and to connect with other members of ACHE. We want to thank you for being a part of AHE and I look forward to getting to know you better.

Victor J. Galfano, FACHE
President
